HORSHAM, Pa.— Global Clinical and Ancillary Supply Chain leader Ancillare, LP, the only organization exclusively serving the end-to-end clinical and ancillary supply chain management needs of large- and middle-market pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, as well as contract and medical research organizations, announced today its Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Joanne Santomauro, has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 2018 Most Admired CEO honoree.

The Most Admired CEO award recognizes the top Chief Executive Officers who are established leaders with a strong record of innovation in their field, outstanding financial performance, a commitment to quality, a strong vision, a culture of diversity in the workplace and contributions to the Greater Philadelphia region. The honorees for 2018 were selected by the Philadelphia Business Journal editorial board.

“It is an honor to be recognized among this dynamic list of leaders,” said Santomauro. “It is my privilege to be the CEO of such a talented, dedicated group of professionals. Our growth and success would not be possible without my incredible team.”

Santomauro defined and revolutionized clinical and ancillary supply chain management for the clinical research industry in 2006 after recognizing a gap. Under Santomauro’s inspirational leadership, Ancillare transformed the way sponsors manage their clinical and ancillary supply chains. Ancillare has grown from a start-up organization to a global organization with over 200 employees around the world.

Today, global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies, as well as contract and medical research organizations, turn to Ancillare to manage their Phase I-IV trial clinical and ancillary supply demands.

Santomauro will be honored at an award ceremony at The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
