HORSHAM, Pa.— Global Clinical and Ancillary Supply Chain leader Ancillare, LP, the first organization exclusively serving the end-to-end clinical and ancillary supply chain management needs of large- and middle-market pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, as well as contract and medical research organizations, today announced it will sponsor a summer education program offered by the Young Men and Women in Charge (YMWIC) Foundation Inc.

The sponsorship will cover tuition expenses for two students from disadvantaged families to attend a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) summer program. Since 2007, YMWIC has served underprivileged youth in Philadelphia and surrounding communities through education and leadership programs geared toward preparation for careers in STEM fields.

“Ancillare is proud to support an organization doing such important work for youth in our community,” said Dr. Joanne Santomauro, Ancillare CEO and YMWIC board member. “The students who attend these programs are preparing to become industry innovators, not unlike those who brought Ancillare into existence.”

“We wish the very best to the families who will benefit from our sponsorship, and look forward to continuing to give back to our community,” Santomauro added.
